| In order to keep pace with the fast changing
scenario, Milkfed decided to improve the quality of Verka brand
milk & milk products top the level of international standards.
Accordingly, all Milk Plants as well as two Cattle Feed Plants
got ISO 9001-2000/HACCP-15000 certification. Now, our two Milk
Plants i.e. Mohali and Ludhiana are gearing up to get IS/ISO
22000 certification. |

| On the basis of quality with efficient
administration, Milkfed has not only established new mile
stone of providing services to Dairy farmers but scaled new
heights in delighting esteemed customers also. This has resulted
into tremendous achievements in all fields. |

“ The turnover
of Milkfed which was Rs.1150 Crores in the year 2008-09 has hit
the level of Rs.1255 Crores in the year 2009-10.”

“The paid up equity of Milkfed as on 31.3.2009 was to the tune of Rs.46.90 Crores which comprises of Rs.29.34 Crores from thecooperative members and balance Rs.17.56 Crores from State Capital.” |
