THE PUNJAB STATE COOPERATIVE lABOUR AND CONSTRUCTIONFEDERATION LTD.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS :-

For the better implementation of the New- 20 point programme the Punjab Govt. has granted concessions to the Coop. L/C. Socieities for a period of 5 years i.e. up to 14th August 2014 vide its Notification No. 76/52/79.C.I(V)/7278  dated 13.8.2009 and it is marvellous success of this Federation in the successful achievement of this programme for examples:- 

a. All unskilled works upto any value and skilled works upto Rs. 15.00 lacs have been got reserved for L/C. Societies only with the ceiling rates so fixed from time to time.

b. To organize a meeting on 27.1.09 with Hon’ble Chief Minister Punjab reg.Director, Local Self Govt. letter No.38524-38690 dated 4.12.07.
MINOR ACHIEVEMENTS :-
c. The Societies are exempted from payment  of Earnest money for the works up to    Rs. 5.00 lacs.
d. The L/C. Societies are exempted from payment of Licencing fees.
e. Payments are to be made to L/C. every fortnightly.
f. The Labour Cooperatives are to be given preference for machinery and equipment on hire basis by the Department.
g.

Copies of the tender notices are to be sent to Distt. Coop.L/C Unions and concerned Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
